Christmas Day Dinner '09
posted on December 27, 2009 | 0 commentsGrey comment

I had Christmas day dinner with bubs and his godfather at Chalet, Hotel Equatorial. Chalet serves continental Swiss cuisine and it is famous for its festive menus. Apparently, they won the 'Most Outstanding Festival Cuisine Award '09' title from The Malaysian International Gourmet Festival (MIGF). Kudos to Hotel Equatorial to be able to maintain its standard for over 30 years. The furnishing still looks as good as new and I really love the dark and cozy ambiance of the restaurant.

They have door gifts for their guests during festive seasons - I received a stalk of rose, as for both Uncle and bubs, they received Christmas Ginger Stars, and we also had a photo taken and printed out for us. I am definitely going back to try out their Swiss cheese fondue!

Christmas Eve '09
posted on December 26, 2009 | 0 commentsGrey comment

No more partying or spraying white foam on the streets for this year's Christmas celebration. Early in the evening was dinner at home with family then we went shisha/double dating at Look Out Point with Nat and Kenneth! We didn't even bother to be on time for Christmas countdown! Lol seriously no 'oumph' to celebrate like when we were young.

Christmas tree is up!

Yay, the tree is ready and steady for the holiday season plus the Fong family is having a Christmas Eve dinner with the paternal family cause Aunt Ashley and the other side of the family came back from Guangzhou to celebrate Christmas with us!

Mom decided on this year's tree theme colour to be silver - white LED lights, silver ribbons, silver frosted bauble, silver tinsel, huge silver star for the top of the tree etc. I think she is ordering turkey from Victoria Station too.

Seriously I can't wait for New Years already, and it is only 8 more days till 2010. On the other hand, I've been listing down all my goals and new year's resolutions for the past few weeks and would update it soon for your kepochiness I promise. :D

Reebonz: Confession of an E-Shopaholic!
posted on December 22, 2009 | 0 commentsGrey comment

According to Synovate, 75% of Malaysian women believe in retail therapy. Most Malaysians are infatuated with designer goods. They would rather purchase from other countries during holiday trips or even line up in front of their flagship store for hours during a sale simply because they are much cheaper!

Many blogshops have begun to sell medium to high end designer products too, but the main worry really is the authenticity of these products. Well, guess what? Reebonz offered me an exclusive membership to join their private shopping website! So, I checked out the website, listed down some of the information about this private shopping haven and the benefits if I joined them.

They have featured designer labels such as Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Tods, Prada, Gucci, Miu Miu, Coach, Kate Spade, Givenchy, Lanvin, etc. Apparently, my readers are invited to join too! Sign up quick because the Kate Spade sales has just begun and I can't wait to check out Bourne's Hot Pink Eva pumps on the next sales event! Hot bags and shoes here I come!

You can either enter on the bottom right hand corner of the main website

New Toy

Omg, I've been floating on cloud nine for the whole day! My Santa Claus a.k.a Bubby got me an early Christmas present! My Canon Ixus 80IS has served me well for the pass year and I have been yakking and yakking about getting the Canon G11 or the S90. I guess the sweetest boyfriend did hear the noises I made and actually did his homework on reading up with reviews afterall.

I am currently looking for a nice casing for the S90 and the iPhone. Seriously, anything that is unwrap with invisible shield, screen protector or hard casing will suffer and die in my handbag. Sigh, I realize I am the only female blogger around who does not attempt to pimp (i.e. have lovely wrist strap or stick 3D bling blings) and name her car mobile phone, iPod, camera and etc.

Bubby's Birthday (Round 2)
posted on December 14, 2009 | 0 commentsGrey comment

After the first session of getting smashed by his own family members, the birthday boy organized another party at Rootz for another round of proper K.O. session with his friends. Honestly, I always like to compare Rootz with Sultan Lounge, Mandarin Oriental! Of course, Rootz wins the battle with the younger crowd and much cheaper booze which lead to another problem -- sardine packed every weekend! ):

Social affair(s)

Few weeks ago, I've attended my high school reunion dinner at Rosemary Bites, Aman Suria. The guys from 5 Meranti (class of 2007) organized it. Well to be honest I really hated everything about high school, the only thing I missed was hanging out the bunch from high school though - recess time at the school canteen and having deep conversation with one another during our free periods. Everyone is so grown up now. (:

Just the day before yesterday, the Ng famiglia celebrated Bubby's birthday @ Neway with endless supply of beers, liqours and singing! This is my first time partying with the boyfriend's family till four in the morning and I can never imagine myself partying with the older folks. The night ended with girly talk sessions with Sean's mommy and a nearly drunk birthday boy.
