First of all, happy birthday Marc! This is really an outdated post of Marc's all white party @ Quattro, Avenue K. People who disobeyed the all white theme were punished to take a photo with the cardboard below! How cute. Hmm I gotta start uploading photos to my Flickr or something, damn anal with blogger cause it seems to screw up the photo quality man! FTS.

I will blog frequently la I promise, don't run away from my blog. :D

Bali - Day 5 (clubbing day!)

Yeap thats right, day 5 is the club hoping night in Bali starting from the surf shop, some dodgy japanese karaoke, Bounty and Mbargo. Before that, we went to the food court to get some local hawker food and old school Coke. One thing I like about Indonesian food is that everything is sweet including their indomee and noodle soup.

My Bakso noodle soup with loads of sweet black sauce. :D

Starting drinking session at the surf shop.

Czech girl on the left is damn hot I swear!

Japanese chicks also quite hot.

Basically, at one night we hung around people from all over the world -- Czech Republic, Brazil, Japan, Singapore (cause Musa's from there!). Hahaha! But its hard communicating with some of them because they do not speak English! NOT EVEN VERY BASIC ENGLISH for them japs! So, thats when your iPhone translation apps comes in handy. :D

Then, we visited the Bali bombing monument. Sigh. ):

Bali - Day 3 & 4

I try as hard as I can to juggle between studies, work, love life - the three main things that takes all your time away but worth every second of it. Blogging has to be put on hold for the past week thanks to my crazy assignment due dates. Right now, I have a one or two days to spare and blog on everything I have put on on previously.

Bali day 3 & 4 is actually pretty awesome and chilled out for me and bubby but it is photos are extremely boring for readers la (if you are bored you can leave the page now kthxbai). Hahaha. Because I was too chilled out so I forgot to take photos. (- -) That was the first sunset I saw from Kuta beach during the evening. It was so crowded with locals and for the first time I can see more people then sand on the beach -- this is some serious people mountain people sea (人山人海).

See, got more people than sand right?

Then, we continue to chilled out and shop till we have to move to Fourteen Roses located at Legian, another hotel because we are going broke soon already. Hahaha, shouldnt shop on the first two days of vacation when you didn't bring credit card. D:

Manicure at the beach is better than manicure at the shop. :D

Awesome foursome dinner @ Rosso Vino.

I've been getting comments about me getting darker skin colour; but people never tell me whether it looks better or worst! Other than that, people kept on telling me that I look like harajuku girls. Which part of me look like harajuku you tell me? I think you people meant ganguro instead lo. So far, I am liking this skin tone. (:

For Hennessy Quattro event, I wore a body hugging dress with splashes of neon colour paint courtesy of Leemin dear. (: I don't think I would ever purchase something so daring but heck it look so effing good seriously. I think I need to go shopping already!

I swear this round of Hennessy Artistry is more like a concert rather than clubbing-ish event. Does Hennessy and alternative artist goes well? Owh well, at least its free booze. Quattro was kinda small to hold a big event and everyone was like sardins in a can I swear.

and Phuture for more fun! :D

October 7, 2009

Gah, I finally squeezed some time in to upload and edit the photos from the recent Hennessy Artistry and blog about it. For the past two days, I had only 4 hours of sleep out of 48 hours; so basically I have been up and working for 44 hours straight. And folks that is the result of procrastinating.

I attended Hennessy Artistry press conference @ Quattro, Avenue K last Thursday. Honestly, the event did not start up my party mood like the previous one as the choice of venue was not that good and the air conditioning was heating up in Quattro (so hot can die seriously). I only googled the details for the event when I was on the way to the press conference. Hahaha! Despite that, I still managed to take picture with Boys like Girls. :D

Okay, need some beauty sleep and wonderful dreams right now. I promise I will blog about the Hennessy Artistry night and Bali trip soon! :D

I was cracking my head the week before our 1st monthiversary (cause I am still on vacation with Mr. Sonic at Bali during that week) -- thinking of what to make or get for the boy. So, I went and search for some really interesting plushie projects on craftster.org (grins one of my favorite website). I adapted some ideas for this bunny plushie that I made from plushiecentral.co.uk/.

Just hope that Mr. Sonic loves it. ♥

Bali - Day 1 & 2

The motto for the entire trip was -- "Lan care, we're in Bali!"

Hahaha it was really an impromptu vacation because we booked our flight tickets just a week before, packed our luggage the night before and did not book our hotel beforehand too! And I was tad paranoid with all those tsunami and earthquake news but the weather seems fine for travelling. Plus, this is the first time daddy & mommy approved of me going overseas without them. So, I tag along with Mr. Sonic. On the first day itself, I was like one of the millionaires on plane. :D

KUL - DPS: AK 364

We got stuck here for 2 hours trying to book a hotel and our only choice was Nusa Dua, which cost us around 150 USD/night. Although the weather is nice but it was during the Hari Raya festival where all the locals from Jakarta came down for their holiday too! So finally we managed to find a villa located at Changgu, which is very far from our original destination, Kuta.

So nais -- they gave us welcoming drink and sweet smelling Plumeria Leis.

and our own welcoming drink. Ngek!

The villa that we are staying in is Villa Yan Yan. Honestly, the place is quite kampung, but the concept of the whole place is fan-fucking-tastic because we were their first customer thats why we had the whole villa and pool to ourself. Seriously, own driver to Kuta (which cost like 70k rupiah if you take a taxi) and two very nice personal balinese maids assistants and cooks (because they cook and layan you literally 24/7). It is about 800k rupiahs/night.

My own private tanning beds in front of our room. (:

How come Bali can have nice cravings for their roundabout and our Malaysia's roundabout looks like shit?

Pertamina is like THE pertrol station. I see no Shell in sight. (- -)

Sorry, tourist-ish photo with the 1 horsepower ride. :D

I shall stick to Coca-cola and Mr. Sonic let me tried Soda Gembira! (Ice cream Soda with condensed milk and strawberry flavored mixer)

To be continued...
